The Kuebiko Project has been influenced by the rising number of terrorist attacks occurring across the world, causing increasing numbers of innocent and meaningless deaths. Kuebiko is a term coined by John Koenig who created The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows; a website of new words to describe emotions that do not have a descriptive term.
I have made a point with these prints, not to include details of what type of incidents occurred or who took responsibility for them so as not to give a single ounce of recognition or credit goes to them. These lists are a dedication to those that have died; innocent civilians and members of the emergency services doing their duty to protect us. Let us remember them.
Kuebiko: (n) a state of exhaustion inspired by senseless acts of violence.
